The city of Johnstown, PA is seeking proposals for heating and cooling services for the Public Safety Building, located at 401 Washington St, Johnstown, PA. Copies of the RFP are available on the city’s website at www .cityof johnstownpa.net under City Announcements or by calling the City Manager’s Office at 814-539-2504 ext 102.

The City is developing a Complete Streets Policy for the downtown area. The policy will establish the vision and will encourage streets to provide safe, convenient and comfortable travel and access for all ages and abilities.
An on-line survey has been prepared to obtain information on transportation conditions in the downtown. The survey can be accessed using this following link. Your response is requested by August 1, 2020.

The City of Johnstown Parking Department will resume the enforcement of issuing tickets within the city limits, effective Monday, May 11th at 9:00 am.
SUMMER MAINTENANCE HELP
The City of Johnstown is accepting applications for Summer Maintenance Help. Work includes general maintenance and clean-up duties, such as grass cutting and garbage removal. Positions pay $8.50 hr/ 40 hrs per week for a period no longer than 12 weeks. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, city resident preferred. The city is an EEO/AA employer. Johnstown City Council has waived penalty and interest charges on Business Privilege and Mercantile Tax to July 15, 2020. This extends the payment deadline and coincides with the Internal Revenue Service extension.
